I gotta tell this one, since you’ve reminded me of it:

A talent scout was looking for a new musical act when he arrived at farm, and heard an extraordinary rendition of “the William Tell Overture.” (Those unfamiliar with that title will recognize it the theme to “The Lone Ranger” TV series.)

Upon meeting the farmer, the scout asked, “Who are those marvelous musicians?”

*Those are my prize cows," the farmer replied, “and I trained ’em myself!”

The talent scout’s jaw dropped in amazement. “Amazing! But, tell me — how is it that you could teach them to play so magnificently?”

“Oh, it’s no big deal,” said the farmer, “I just simply attached a bit of marijuana to their rear ends.”

“I don’t understand,” said the scout. “How does that get them to play so well?”

“Are you kidding?” cried the farmer. “I though everyone knew — a herd in the band is worth boo in the tush!!!”
