    This thread is getting more confusing with each strip.

    As I explained February 10, the two shows didn’t air simultaneously. I suppose I can forgive that for the material, but it was The Beatles’ wigs that were sold. Hoss evidently had little hair to speak of and he didn’t wear a toupe on the show (that you could tell when his hat was seldom off). Wouldn’t Dad want to invest in something like vests or 10-gallon hats?

    Dad should have bought into the “Pernell Roberts wigs” stock! He would have made a fortune!!

    @Al S.

    Don’t be so literal. This comic is a funny pun.

    Now if Hoss had been a member of the Beatles – that would have been interesting (especially with a Beatles hair style).

    Ed Sullivan was opposite “The Wonderful World of Color”… I was watching part 1 of “The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh” instead of the Fab Four 50 years ago!

    My grandparents watched the Beatles when they were on. They watched them on a black and white TV. They said they had three channels to watch.
