Clean and roast the bird @ 325 Fahrenheit, covered with aluminum foil, until the last 20,minutes. Now that would be a beautiful bird, and use can reuse the plumage for years. And if you choose, you can have a veterinarian make a head and shoulder mount of the bird. I saw a head mount of a pheasant yesterday, it is quite a conversation piece.

; ) Yes, but wool can be dyed into every color of the rainbow (and then some) and also made into wonderful, warm garments…

Rory gets to go outside and fancy feathers doesn’t.

Taxidermist. Stuffed and mounted animal heads in the vet’s office wouldn’t exactly drum up business.

    Pretty packaging isn’t always pretty.

Very few taxidermists are equipped to do pet birds. I had my dearest friend preserved after she spent over 23 years with me. and there is not enough meat on a good size parrot as a small chicken (bred for eating) because body is meant to be able to fly.

My mother has a bird just like that one Dazz. She also has a conure and an eclectus. The eclectus has no plumage as it plucked itself of all feathers.
