    Good thing is that as far as our sun is concerned, we have some time before that happens. However we will be hit by larger bodies again, the calderas will eventually explode, the New Madrid Fault will go off devastating the East coast.

    I have a rather more positive view of earth’s future! It will be destroyed by fire, but then the Creator will make new heavens and a new earth which will endure for eternity.
