Having sold his first comic at age 19, Ralph Hagan saw early success in the comics business, with work also featured in The Saturday Evening Post Reader's Digest while he pursued a separate full-time career. In 2004, Ralph began cartooning full-time with passion.
Currently residing in the country west of Edmonton, Alberta, Ralph and Brenda make room in their family for three cats, a dog and four horses. Near farms with barns, of course.
Ralph would like to dedicate "The Barn" is dedicated to Ralph’s father Stan Hagan (his biggest fan) who passed away in 2004 -- and sincerely hopes they get the comics in heaven.

Of course we can do it – if necessary. But let’s hope for a more satisfying solution, shall we?

I don’t think so. We’ve all been softened by all these conveniencess. Just listen to the Texans whining about the heat. What would they do without a/c?

If we just stop lavishing fossil fuels with unnneeded subsidies and get serious about alternate energy sources we would be near energy independence from fossil sources by now. Germany is serious we are not. Germany has a resource efficiency of 85%, ours is 32%.

If it gets that bad with “balmy beaches” then most of the earth would be uninhabitable by humans.

The climate has been changing for centuries. The last episode of warming ended over a decade and a half ago. The idea that it was caused by man is silly at best.

This just sums up the facade of the enviromentalist movement. Every one is to do without the conviences and necessities of life but themselves. If you will notice that every time that GreenPeace (or any like organization) is protesting some aspect of our modern society, they are using at least one form of the items produced by our society.
If they were serious about reducing the strain they say the earth is under, they would need to forsake the housing that uses any of the earth’s resources, clothing that is produced by using the same resources, and any food that is proccessed from what exist in nature. In other words, a true enviromentalist would be homeless, naked, and staring to death.

Huricane Sandy was a Fluke?
What about when they keep getting wose?
It’s not about abandoning energy technology. It’s about evolving beyond what we’re using now because the present 19th century technology doesn’t work anymore due to the excessive carbon emissions caused by so much of it.

There have been worse storm than Sandy, but because it hit the populated east coast, of course it’s “teh worst 1 EVAR
1”
.
Personally I find all of the arguing about global warming/cooling/climate change rather useless. Lets discuss pollution and dwindling resources, then maybe we could get something done.
