Having sold his first comic at age 19, Ralph Hagan saw early success in the comics business, with work also featured in The Saturday Evening Post Reader's Digest while he pursued a separate full-time career. In 2004, Ralph began cartooning full-time with passion.
Currently residing in the country west of Edmonton, Alberta, Ralph and Brenda make room in their family for three cats, a dog and four horses. Near farms with barns, of course.
Ralph would like to dedicate "The Barn" is dedicated to Ralph’s father Stan Hagan (his biggest fan) who passed away in 2004 -- and sincerely hopes they get the comics in heaven.

Oh my, it’s cold during winter season. Of course, that means climate change isn’t happening. Just leave out the extreme weather occurrences, increased flooding and drought.

When I was a kid, EVERY YEAR we had snow all winter long. This year my kids and I have not even had a real chance to go sledding.

Sorry kiddo, local weather isn’t how you measure it. You measure the entire earth’s weather for a year. For us in S. TX we get much milder winters now than we did in the 1980’s, in some places no winter at all others heavy snows. The patterns are distorting because we are in a phase transition to another global weather pattern.

Many people die from heat waves. I mean one hundred plus for months on end. We had that in Texas several years in a row.

Last summer was the hottest we have ever had in our area, and this winter has had 2 brief days of snow. Winter used to be real here. Snow that lasted for weeks, and deep enough to
want to take pictures of it’s beauty.
@ weeks ago we had a hail storm for half an hour and then it melted. I miss having days when it would be stuck inside for days.
The folks who think it’s not real must have very short memories.

Has anyone ever heard of that big yellow hot thing in the sky from outer space that comes out for a little bit every day? It’s called the sun. It’s called natural cycles. They’re called solar storms. It’s happened before, it’s happening now, it’ll happen again.
