The Argyle Sweater presents a surreal, hilarious (and sometimes punny) look at the world you think you know. Armed with a willingness to explore every edge of the surreal, Scott Hilburn’s creation presents his sharply unique take on history, everyday life and the truly absurd.

I feel like I ought to say something, but my whole childhood is flashing before my eyes. Not Charlie Brown!

Beckham must be making ‘another’ Gillette commercial. Let’s hope it’s a close shave!

“Ain’t that a kick in the head?” This is sick. I know it’s only a comic strip; but tragedy is not funny, when the subject represents human instigated violence, resulting in death.

This is hilarious! Getting kicked in the head is a riot… as long as it’s not me!

I’m thinking the strip is referring to the TV commercial for some soda – a woman sees a soda at the soda stand, there’s only one left, and there are a million people in line, the woman sends one tweet “I saw David Beckham at the pier” and everyone stampedes away letting her get her soda … and “poor Charlie Brown” would be under foot. Not tragedy really – silly commercial instead.

That’s not just any “woman” in the commercial, it’s Sofia Vergara

As Spock would say, I fail to see the humor in this situation.
