‘BTG’ is one of the most popular humor authors of all time. With numerous New York Times Best Sellers to his credit, countless publishing awards, and over 22,000,000 copies sold in 115 countries, you would think his brain would be highly organized ... But it’s not.
The Lost Bear feature, exclusive to GoComics, is ample proof of this. Welcome to BTG’s lifelong cerebral misadventure. The Lost Bear showcases the delightfully odd daily debris that tumbles out of BTG’s head when his mental engine starts to misfire. This is public therapy at its most entertaining, set within an absurdist pseudo-intellectual petting zoo – Feel free to feed the bear.

Fresh, snug undies will help civilise any lost bear but coffee will tame the world especially on Mondays.

If you warm them in the oven, the therapeutic value increases enormously.

Starting the day sans undies might be worth a try. Bare hug anyone?

You could sit and have a nice hot cup of coffee in your new undies.

Greetings Lost Bears,
Thank you for your warm, wicked and witty comments. I always look forward to seeing what you have to say.
My apologies for the delay in re-starting the series this year –
2013 has been a wild roller-coaster and we’re not even through January!
In short, having enjoyed a wonderful frozen holiday with my Beloved’s family, I was thrilled and honoured to be invited to join two legends on stage at the Warner Grand Theatre: Jane Goodall and Betty White, all in support of Jane’s charity.
And I was also delighted/terrified to start my new role as the resident wildlife expert on E!’s refreshingly crass late-night comedy talk show, Chelsea Lately. For those who missed my ignoble debut, rest assured it was a hilarious disaster – everything that could possibly go wrong did:
1. The Sugar Gliders urinated on the host,
2. The Emu wanted to attack the host,
3. An Arctic Fox and five of my seven Alpacas refused to walk on stage,
4. The Yak refused to leave the stage!
Anyway, here’s an online link to a suitably humiliating clip for your amusement: http://www.eonline.com/shows/chelsea/videos/200750/chelsea-lately-bradley-trevor-greive
However, while these were joyous highlights, there has been great tragedy as well – starting with the fact that my Island home is largely reduced to ash, and while my farm is unscathed, many of my friends and neighbours have lost everything. For those who are in Tasmania, please go to next weekend’s fire reliefe concernt in St Helens to help support the community.
Also, in a cruel twist, my Beloved’s mother suffered a serious cardian arrest just ten days ago, and has only just emerged from a coma. Though still in critical condition, I’m pleased to say she is making great progress, and I ask that you keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
Not the start to the new year I was hoping for, but all in all, I suppose we can just be thankful that our lives are not dull.
The Lost Bear will gather momentum over the coming weeks, and I will endeavour to post new work each week, mostly on MOnday.
Thank you once again for your friendship, good humour and support over the Holiday season. I am very much looking forward to another year of artistic anarchy.
Yours gratefully,
BTG

Please wash and dry and then let me borrow them next week. I need them more than you!

Ha hah – In must admit that I’ve done something similar with long-johns on a heater while at the snowfields – I must agree, the sense of warmth, confort, security and loin-centric purpose was rather affirming.
