Had a little neighbor girl who watched Annie so many times she could recite the whole thing. Is this a kid thing?

Grandkids watched Pohcahontas so many times they could recite the entire movie, and they wore out the tape!

My nephew wore out my mom’s Bambi VHS (this was 20 yrs ago) that she had to go out and buy a new one. However, it is not a little kid thing . . . I still rewatch movies that I like and can basically quote and I’m knocking 40. :-)

With my kids it was The Princess Bride. They could practically recite the whole movie from start to finish.

    “As you wish!”
I think, isn’t that the quote in the Princess Bride?

No, there are some John Wayne movies that my mother could give the complete dialog with her back to the screen.

And with the new revised versions that is another reason why you watch the “old” versions. June 14th scheduled release of Superman for example.

I know someone who can recite Wiz of Oz from beginning to end. I have never seen it all the way through. I have seen bits and pieces here and there, but not a big fan. My own personal opinion, mind you, but if it gets to the point where a person can recite complete dialogue of any show or movie, that person needs to get out more.

I appreciate your comment, and your taste in movies, but isn’t the line, "_Pardon me_ while I whip this out? I really don’t remember. May be wrong, and too lazy to google it.
