Ten abandoned cats live in an old warehouse where they are looked after by a young girl named Annie. They include Chesney, the ringleader, Jack, his sidekick, and Oliver - a wide-eyed kitten. The warehouse contains a boardroom on the very top floor, where, unbeknownst to Annie the moggies conduct the world's business through the eyes of a cat.

What were saying Annie about Chesney being the only crazy cat…

Let’s just say she’s a close second.

…Lily is not crazy, she’s a lovely lady who is willing to work hard to stay that way! My female cat ALWAYS took great pains with her appearance (though I must say there was always a HUGE fuss when nail-clipping time came around)…

Cute-say that is a placid cat there. They must be friends

@jadoo823
Well said jadoo, my little girl is quite the beauty (she’s my avatar) and works hard at keeping up her appearance. The first 5 years of her life were spent with people who mistreated her so we let her have run of the house. She deserves it.

And this is our first female, I notice she is much more concerned with her beauty regimen than our boys ever were. As for the nails, well she absolutely will not let us touch those feet so we have to take her to the vet for a quick clip every few months. My other kitties didnt react like this one. But when you adopt a shelter pet you really have no idea the hell they may have been through

I agree with Annie. “Beg pardon”? And who will pay for this, Lily?

Part of her paw looks orange. Is she a calico? Looks a bit like my sons cat only she has more orange.

We have two Tonkinese who purr when we clip their claws. They love everything. :o) Strange.

Oh…some days nail clipping goes well….especially in warm weather on the porch. Our latest adoptee has to be sleeping before I attempt to clip…and I never get more than one or two at a time.

Regarding claw clipping – He holds the cat, I clip.
I think it takes two to peacefully clip any cat’s claws.
I loved today’s strip. A sardine and rice milk facial – gee I wonder if it works…

@Dry
Some say she’s a calico, others call her a tortoiseshell.

@Paula
I agree. My hubby would hold our past kitties and while I would do the clipping. This girl will not be held. Sure we could try to restrain her but it wouldnt be worth the trauma. It took her about a full year to really feel comfortable with us and call this her home.
