Ten abandoned cats live in an old warehouse where they are looked after by a young girl named Annie. They include Chesney, the ringleader, Jack, his sidekick, and Oliver - a wide-eyed kitten. The warehouse contains a boardroom on the very top floor, where, unbeknownst to Annie the moggies conduct the world's business through the eyes of a cat.

Oliver is an absolute angel. No way on earth could I say no to a kitty with a tear.

One day after my favorite cat died unexpectedly at 16, his brother jumped up on the kitchen counter and gave the most painful sounding long yowl – I thought he was having a seizure or stroke- and then peed all over the counter. He never did anything like it before or after. If that wasn’t grief…..

I’m not even remotely a cat person, but I’d take Oliver in a heartbeat! I love that sweet little dude.

I hope he’s hypo-allergenic.

Sorry to be a bit late today…Had to get my little family off. Loaded down with leftover and my grandson; whom I could not convince them to leave with me…

I have been fortunate. All my cats have been very affectionate! And they are very smart as well. I do miss having a dog too, though. If I had more room I would have one or two again. My cats are rescues.

Debbie, I could not agree more! I have had pure breeds and rescues both. It may be my imagination, but I swear, my rescues are happier, show more love, and stick closer to home (that was back when I allowed cats outside due to living on 12 acres outside of town) I no longer allow my cats outside since I do live in town now, albeit a small one…there are still feral cats, mean dogs, and a cats worst enemy, traffic. My current family are 2 dogs and one cat, but I am thinking about getting or giving a home to, at least one more when I get back from my winter vacation next month…

@marge from yesterday
I find it very cool that you speak German. I don’t know much, but I could piece together what you said before reading the translation. I really want to learn German; my great grandparents were German, so I appreciate any opportunity to practice and improve my understanding of the language.

To Marge from yesterday:
I grew up in (West) Germany, Regensburg on the northernmost point of the Danube. Where are you from?

Hey! I’m allergic to cats too!

There’s always allergy pills. Even prescription for hard-core allergens.

LInda, I’ll bet you absolutely hated to see your family leave!
My cats are indoor cats as well. The first rescue showed up on our doorstep Christmas Eve, what 4 years ago now. She had a flea collar, and was spayed and declawed. Tried to find the owner, via radio, lost and found, etc. but no one ever claimed her. I suspect her people were visiting someone over the holidays, and she slipped out the door.
