For decades, our foreign policy seems to have been “let’s find the worst way possible to deal with this, and see if that works.” it’s like releasing rattlesnakes in your house because you saw a mouse in the kitchen. You don’t foresee a problem later on?

We have a long history of Texans starting or escalating wars. First LBJ with Viet Nam, then Poppy Bush with Gulf War I, fought for……..some reason, and then GWB with Gulf Wars II and III concurrently, fought for…..some reason. We should be glad that Rick Perry isn’t the Republican candidate.

With as much experience as we’ve had in wars dealing with tribal factions, I can’t figure out why the government can’t figure out how to keep that portion of the female anatomy that keeps getting caught in the wringer out of the wringer.

Maybe Mitt can make his Time Machine available? You know, the one he used to “retroactively” retire from Bain Capital?

In case anyone from overseas is reading this;
TARFU – Totally and Royally Effed Up!
FUBAR – Effed Up Beyond All Repair
SNAFU – Situation Normal, All Effed Up.
Military terms from long before WW2.

Perhaps some organizations make a serious amount of money while these wars are going on.
-
Not that any of that money would be funnelled back to the ones deciding whether or not to go to war. Or anything.

Ever hear that idea that Brzezinski represented the ruling families in the world who are trying to bring about a one world government?

In 1980, Osama ran out of Bullets when he was at War with Russia over a small strip of uninhabitable land in Afghanistan. RR called Terrorist Osama and his Terrori Army ‘Freedom Fighters’ and told us we had to give them more bullets as they were battling ‘The Evil Empire’
Had RR left well enough alone and not supplied Osama with more bullets, Russia would have killed Osama. Russia still would have collapsed as the spent all of their money battling Osama over a small strip of uninhabitable land in Afghanistan, and September 11, 200 never would have happened and we would not be in The Middle East today

The enemy of my enemy is my friend, until he becomes my enemy. I wonder if the U.S. government has formally contacted the Russian government in order to get some pointers as to how to deal with the Taliban. I guess that would have caused quite a bit of amusement in the Kremlin…

My understanding is that one of the purposes of all this military action in oil-producing regions is to keep them terrorized into leaving the US dollar the reserve currency, so they can’t make deals without it, as that would have a severely negative effect on our economy.
