And this is different from staying in Korea, Japan, Germany etc?

Bring our troops home now. Close all overseas US military bases and most domestic bases and employ the former troops in good union jobs rebuilding our crumbling infrastructure. Restore the tax rates on the rich that were in effect during the 1960’s and 70’s. Cut pentagon spending by 90%. Eliminate the cap on FICA taxes. Bring back the tax on stock transactions.

We still occupy Guantanamo, and that’s been since the Spanish American War! (Well, we still have Guam too.) The deal is only for “financial” on the extended period. Hey, give Romney a chance and we may be in Iran too!!

Only now do we come to realize that there was another word in front of “hopenchange”.
The word?
“No.”

The poor can’t help but ‘hate’ the rich, it is now imblazened into their very soul.

Every one of your policies will definitely not help the rich get richer. Plus, you used the word “union”.

Its getting time to print the, “If you can read this bumper sticker thank a teacher. If you’re not reading it in Dari or Pashto thank a troop.”

@mimismom
Yes, it is. Korea, Japan, Germany are modern more or less civilized cultures that have a future and are worth defending. Afghanistan is not.

Sorry, but countries with thousands of operational nuclear warheads don’t get taken over by other countries. But encouraging people to think that way is a just dandy excuse for implementing a police state.

You mean like republicans hate women? No one hates the rich, but we have bridges falling down, roads and sewers, and schools to fix and nobody else has any money. ’Bout time they pony up….

Obama, you idiot! I didn’t vote for you to stay at war for years to come. Get the hell out before one more soldier is shot in the back by one of our Afghan allies!
