Wonder what Sandusky will suffer in “Heaven” when it’s his turn in the shower?

Comics about ‘justice’ are rarely pretty – and neither are ones about jocks who bully & abuse and the people who protect them because of money. NRIH for Joe Pa (No Rest In Hell).

The end of Paternoism, I rather doubt it.

Don’t get it. What’s Hillary doing in the shower with Joe?

As a Penn State alum and a person who has actually met the man, I can’t really say aside from the saying “It only takes one ‘Uh Oh’ to erase a whole lot of attaboys.”
We will never really know Joe Paterno’s culpability in the situation, but Tim Curley (Head of Athletics) and Gary Schultz (VP Finance and Administration) deserve more of a judgement. These were the guys Paterno reported to when he heard from McQuery about the sexual abuse that happened in the shower. What did they do? Said to Sandusky that he shouldn’t bring children onto campus. Lets think about this a second. Gary Schultz who was the VP for finance and administration aka (boss of the campus police) did bupkis about it.In State College, the campus police are not slouches nor would they have stopped an investigation. Joe told the people who were basically the police and they did NOTHING! This would have been the same if Joe went to the local cops in the town of State College, reported it and they did nothing. You assume they investigated it and found nothing worthy of pursuit. The moral question is why he didn’t follow-up. DId McQuery soften the language when talking to Paterno, so Joe didn’t think it was crucial or was Joe in denial about his friend and turned a blind eye. That is the part that is between Joe and God. Unfortunately, if he was found lacking Ted’s picture could be the result.A lot of people are still in denial about the whole situation and do exactly what Ted mentioned. Ithink a great many Penn State people still don’t want Joe’s legacy to basically be about one horribly tragic thing considering the gallery of people really responsible for the damage caused to numerous children.
@Ted Rall I’m might not like the comic, but at least you’re honest to say what you think and it made me think..

More like a nightmare rather than a fantasy. Besides, Rall did the drawing, not me, and I was simply asking a question.

Pardon me if my sarcasm detector is off. Yes, my screed was a long and possibly ranting one. Next time I’ll render it down or hold my viewpoint, but for myself and others it needed to be said. Apparently I need to just go back to lurking. Bye

I have to agree with just about all that you said. Joe did a lot of good not just for the football players he mentored but for others as well. It so sad, and a TRUE TRAGEDY that it ended like this. Why he didn’t do more, I guess we will never know, unless his family speaks out. But as for the strip, it was in my opinion, VERY BAD TASTE. I truly hope Sue never sees this one!

And one more thing, Like Phil Knight said, the Board of Trustees SURELY KNEW ABOUT ALL THIS Maybe Ted you should have drawn them into the strip as well.
