For Jerry Sandusky's victims, heaven is hell for the late Joe Paterno
Man: Assume the position, Joe PA.
Angel: Heaven is a great institution. God does a lot of good things. Let's just focus on the positive.
Comics about ‘justice’ are rarely pretty – and neither are ones about jocks who bully & abuse and the people who protect them because of money. NRIH for Joe Pa (No Rest In Hell).
And one more thing, Like Phil Knight said, the Board of Trustees SURELY KNEW ABOUT ALL THIS Maybe Ted you should have drawn them into the strip as well.
@AgentSmith101: Yes, your comment was long, but it was needed. From what we have read and seen so far, no one will ever know the degree of Mr. Paterno’s culpability. He reported it to the person in charge of campus police, but was it his responsibility to follow up afterward? Rall is my favorite, but he may be a little presumptuous in this one. Thanks again for your insightful post. You and Rall have both made some of us think.
All this proves is there’s no due process for anyone who is caught up in a witch hunt. Nobody wants to be the one to call for sanity lest you be labeled a child abuser as well. PA has protocols for educators who hear rumors of child abuse. Paterno did exactly what he was supposed to do. The fault is in the lap of the administration, board of trustees, the DA’s office and the current governor of PA. THEY all failed in their duty. Paterno did not. And no, I’m not a football fan. I’m a fan of truth and justice.

Wonder what Sandusky will suffer in “Heaven” when it’s his turn in the shower?

But he won a lot of football games and nothings more important than that. Right, Mr. Vick?

Alas, Paterno will be spared from the burning place most of you pretend exists. Because it doesn’t exist. Neither does the place in the clouds.

“Or in other words, a guy can design and build a thousand bridges and have one homosexual encounter and he will always be known as ‘the gay guy.’”
I’ve most often heard this comment with “build a thousand bridges” set against “[pleasure] one sheep.”

One thing I’ve long pondered… If one is into “that sort of thing”, does it make a difference if one tries to make it “good for the sheep”?
