    I love the way two of the bullets are clearly passing through the pilot without spattering any blood or guts… meanwhile, the one that hit the canopy is spraying broken glass everywhere. Ah, the editorial standards of the early 60s!

    Nah. It’s just a flesh wound! He’ll crash and Tarzan will run across him while swinging on a vine and help him. Maybe even give him a lift on that vine.

    Tony will bail out along with his precious carge only to be found dying by Tarzan strolling through the jungle on his way to Nairobi. This is going to be a very long stroy Tribemates…sure hope it’s a good one. :)> GeronimoAGowa!!

    Phooey, an impossible shot, 90 degree angle off, somebody does not even begin to understand air to air combat. Should have changed the orientation to either straight 6 overtake, or head on.

    He was going to parachute into the wilderness with the treasure. Is his name Tony or D. B. Cooper?

    @Quartermain MILLER

    Now wouldn’t they look silly rolling around the jungle floor in their airplanes? Those propellers would make good machetes though.

    I was thinking the same. If the Sabre jet has .50 cal. machine guns, two hits from that distance would cut a body in two.

    Regardless of the comics and the movies, you never say “over and out.” It is one or the other Got chewed out for that years ago as an untrained radio opetrator — I was traned to maintain them, not operate them.
