    Are we seeing the genesis of the friendship between D’Arnot and Tarzan?

    There might be more bandits around the next dune. This farewell has taken three days.

    No. D’arnot was the one who taught Tarzan human speech. French was Tarzan’s first human language.

    With lovely Safia in our presence, it’s time to write “Love Letters In The Sand”.

    With Princess Conehead Safia and “reformed” nazi Kurt gone with the jewels, Tarzan can get his mojo working into the action at the fort…..finally! :)> SneakAttackAGowa!!

    It is very unusual and shocking to see Tarzan with a machine gun in his hand. Sooo un-Tarzan-a-gowa!

    @Chikuku

    If they fought for “Der Fatherland” and hitler…they’re nazis plain and simple!

    Katman – following your line of logic, all Americans who fought in Iraq and Afghanistan are war criminals because their leadership engaged in torture. Most German soldiers in WW II did not have the choice of not being part of the army.

    OK then, what the hell are/were we doing in Iraq and Afghanistan again….please explain.
    Are we trying to “rule the world” as the axis powers tried to do in WW2?
    Those nazi sympathizers were /are as bad as the nazis themsleves.

    @sydman

    Sydman, did you notice the prominent display of the bow and arrows in panel three. IMO, Tarzan will use them to quietly knock off a few attackers.
    -
    Seeing attackers fall through no effort of their own, the Legionnaires will start looking around, wondering what’s happening. Et viola, le bad guys are coming over ze back wall,
    -
    Pip, pip . . . two well placed shots, and zhey are fin. Rafi, and the raiders, seeing no hope of help from within, flee en dishabilment.
    -
    Tarzan knocks on the gate, and is allowed in, where he informs Cap’t. Crock it’s 1967, and the French have withdrawn from North Africa.
    -
    Crock, realizing there will be no more shipments of Beaujolais, declare the situation intolerable, and they will all pack up and head for Casablanca, or Tunis, or Algiers, or wherever Jane has got herself off to.
