    Quartermain Miller, can you give us WW2Marine’s name? And maybe a little about his service. It’s more important that imaginary Legionnaires.

    @Fuddy Duddy

    Ww2Marine’s real name is Marion Stults, born in Indiana on August 23, 1925, he joined the marines September 4, 1942, served in the Pacific Feb. 1943 to December 1945. At the end of WW2 he was sent to China, came home, then decided to reenlist in the Marines for 3 more years and then used the G.I. bill to become an electronic engineer by attending Indiana Tech in Ft. Wayne. Joined the Airborne during the Korean War then after the war joined the civil service and worked in Bisbee, Arizona, married his first wife in1953, she died of ovarian cancer leaving him with two young children, not marrying again until 1970, then he and his wife moved to Tucson, he died there on March 9th age 87 after a life of proud accomplishments. So Tarzan fans, we give one last salute to a proud Marine.

    @Quartermain MILLER

    Thank you Quartermain MILLER. Marion Stults served in two wars. And judging from the units he served in, it wasn’t easy duty.

    May God bless him, and receive him with open arms. And may America never forget him and his service.
