    Abool must have been an especially odd sort of brigand to leave her unmolested and him alive. I guess he was too fixated on the missing treasure in the desert to think about women…or, maybe he was afraid his camel would be jealous?

    This artist is wasting his time on TARZAN. Too few beautiful women in this strip, and drawing them is clearly his specialty.

    Don’t those two know that they have the better diet? Red meat is bad for you.

    Tarzan is keeping the camel meat to himself. He will feed them Abool Au Jus….

    Kurt looks a lot like Peter O’Toole in Lawrence of Arabia.

    Perhaps a nice date marinated blackened camel with a heart of palm salad?

    @rdmacgregor

    seems that Abool knew she’d still be there since they didn’t have a camel.

    Pale face Nordics in the deserts of Africa. That last remnants of the European colonialist enterprise.

    ‘Kurt’ could be a generational holdover from the German East Africa days – but that was all divided between the Belgians and the Brits after WWI – maybe they’re not so far north as once thought – maybe in the Chalbi desert, northern Kenya – and not far from Lake Turkana – hm …
