Edgar Rice Burroughs (1875–1950) was an American author. He is best known as an early influence in the science fiction genre, specifically through the creation of his best known series, Tarzan of the Apes and John Carter of Mars. He was a prolific author in general and made contributions to many other genres.

Sort of figured the ‘zan would go easy on Basil, but so much for the Soviet oil play. That should wrap up this story arc, now back to Nairobi and see what Jane’s been up to.

Glad to see Tarzan tying up loose ends. Don’t think for a moment these two incompetents are the only ones. Knowing real oil companies working in Africa they use the local police and military to get their way. So far they haven’t fielded their own military yet.
