Edgar Rice Burroughs (1875–1950) was an American author. He is best known as an early influence in the science fiction genre, specifically through the creation of his best known series, Tarzan of the Apes and John Carter of Mars. He was a prolific author in general and made contributions to many other genres.

It’s already been set up as a warm season in Siberia, Llewellenbruce. Nobody is wearing heavy clothing. You’ll note (at least I did!) Fedora in her little sleeveless number….

Hey, every time I’ve gone to Siberia the first thing I always do is take off my shirt and rip my pant legs off! I don’t see why Tarzan shouldn’t, too.
