That’s what Beetle looks like after Sarge (frequently) beats him up.

Bill, don’t go all Lynn Johnston on us.

(For those who don’t know, Lynn Johnston did the strip For Better Or For Worse. She had a habit of occasionally inserting cameo appearances by other strips’ characters.)

Lio and Pearls frequently let other characters do cameos. I don’t remember Tank doing it before, but today’s was hilarious.

Really? My local paper carries For Better or For Worse, and I’ve yet to see a cameo from another strip.

Agree – can’t recall having seen cameos in FBFW ever, and I’ve followed (not religiously, mind) it since it started pretty much. Now in Pearls Before Swine, absolutely.

Bill, go all Lynn Johnston (and Stephan Pastis and Scott Adams and whoever) on us, ANY TIME you feel like it!

I remember when Lynn Johnston and Mike Peters (Mother Goose & Grimm) traded strips for a day as did many others on that industry-wide one day stunt many years ago (they should do that again!).
