    Move on already, the ref story is last weeks news and this story line just isn’t even remotely funny.

    There have been bad calls every week since. Even in baseball. Ozzy wouldn’t have called an infield fly. Of course, he wouldn’t know that rule existed.

    I agree. The ref story is in the past. A story arc on concussions would be more relevant now.

    Well, they did go to all the trouble of writing and drawing these stories so I suppose they wanted to use them even though they’re out-dated. The problem is that the humor isn’t up to Tank McNamara’s normal standards.

    Don’t listen to those guys — it’s funny. Even now the strike is over. It’ll still be funny when the book comes out, too.

    Jeff & Bill, I think they’re funny too. The 2-week thing is tough to work around. I love the idea…and I could totally see the NFL going for this idea anyway. “Integrity of the game and safety of the players,” my a$$.
