Tall Tale Radio by Tom Racine

Episode Description

It's time to talk sports, Tall Tale Radio fans! Bill Hinds of the great "Tank McNamara" joins me to talk about his long career, his multiple comics, his partnership with the late Jeff Millar, how he animated whales on the Houston Astrodome scoreboard, and why sitting behind a particular car at a stoplight gave him the name to one of his most beloved creations! And Jonathan Lemon of the comic "Rabbits Against Magic" brings us another of his amazing "Lemon Lists!" In this one, he teaches us about the most important document in the history of animated film special effects, the legendary Schultheis Notebook! Listen and learn!

Hi Tom. Congrats on the new exposure for a great show. I hope it gets a big new audience as it deserves. As a longtime listener (and re-listener to all your podcasts downloaded) I am happy to see all the new content. Congratulations on a great show and the wonderful people you get to talk to. I never fail to be inspired or learn something. Kepp up the good work. There are many of us out here who appreciate it.

Plus if you’re new to this show check out the archive as there are lots of timeless interviews with cartoonists from every corner. A great resource.
