Tall Tale Radio by Tom Racine

Episode Description

Indiegogo supporter Ruben Moreno of the great comic "Masked Manor" (www.maskedmanor.com) joins me as co-host today on Tall Tale Radio. We talk about his work and art, and then the great Kris Straub joins us to talk about the end of his long-running webcomic, "Starslip" (which you can see running from it's beginning on GoComics), and the start of his new, horror-themed strip, "Broodhollow." It's a wide ranging discussion on art, horror, and what makes something scary.

Very good pod cast. though near the very end there were several drop outs of audio. I shall check out both sites. Thanx. I am a Lovecraft/Clark Ashton Smith kind of writer.

I believe the whole thing is up now, but it’ll be up on www.talltaleradio.com tomorrow (Tuesday, 1/15) for sure! I hope you’ll keep tuning in, and check out the archives…there’s over 150 more of these!

Thank you! Sorry about the audio…I think it’s fixed, and you’ll be able to find it on my site tomorrow, too. I do love Kris and Ruben’s take on horror…I grew up reading Poe and others like that…my kind of stuff, rather than the slasher type.

Thanks, Info…my interviews are almost always 45 minutes to an hour…artists like to speak when they get the chance! I strive for depth and conversation, rather than 10 minutes of quick chit chat.

As long as you’re happy. I’ll try to check more out but I honestly probably cannot devote that much time

Tom listen to the general audience. We like them for the hour. If people can’t find the time then they are not really interested or need to cut back on the computer games or TV….:-)
