This is EXCELLENT, and it’s not just about privacy.

We get so outraged when the government raises taxes, but when corporations raise prices we say, “meh.” A 2 cent increase in the gas tax would be met with derision and accusations of communism, but a 50 cent increase per gallon by Exxon is taken in stride — or blamed on the government.

The fact is our lives are affected by government, business, the wealthy, religion and even military. For some reason most are only outraged by bad acts (or for some any acts) by the government, but ignore the rest.

Stolen freedom, loss of money, lowered quality of life are the same no matter what entity causes it. It’s time that we act as a people to balance the scales and look at all powerful forces in America to ensure that no one aspect has too much power at any given time.

That’s not liberal, because sometimes the government is too powerful. It’s not conservative, because sometimes business and money are too powerful. It’s American, and had been for most of our history until the past 40 years or so.
