Just a note on the ’toon and accuracy of the summation of “gun nuts”, as opposed to gun owners. The life expectancy of signs where guns are used for “fun”, is typically about three days. Perhaps the costliest budget item in land management is the cost of signs destroyed by guns, oh, and outhouses, remote buildings (public and private), and anything else that can constitute a “target of opportunity”.

It’s the “mentality” of the new law, and “the gun”, that represents the problem, not the mere issue of that “tool”, so commonly MIS-applied!

“what goes together better than guns and alcohol?” Darwinism at work… Not as dangerous as texting and driving, though.

It is only a short step from carrying a gun to using it, and an even shorter step after that to being killed by one

Why such fear? The right to defend yourself and your home goes back before there were written laws. It is inalienable. To be against it is almost unnatural. Maybe even evil.

dzw: while possibly only an urban myth, the story of the guy getting the Darwin Award for using a .22 round in the fusebox of his truck doesn’t seem improbable as an attempt by a good many of these clowns.

Some neighborhoods are dangerous. Should single mothers stay indoors and be afraid to walk the streets?

A cartridge generates energy ‘cause the expanding powder gases are contained behind the projectile. If the cartridge case isn’t supported by the breech, the energy is dissipated as the copper case expands. It’s likely the idiot was injured but I doubt his immediate demise.

They said the same thing years ago when many states passes concealed carry laws. I believe in about every case the gun control nuts were all wrong.

27 years ago the said Florida would become the “Gunshine State”. Never happened. Why can’t left fringer morons bother to read the law?
