His appeal to rabid right appears to be working.

How is President Obama a “loser?” Seems to me he won what he and his faceless allies wanted. Doesn’t mean we win.

A Republican writes a book criticizing Democrats. What a shocker.

Don’t get what the fuzz is all about. Gates was “inherited” from the Bush administration. What did Obama expect? A loyalist? Please…
And then, what is it really that this man is saying? That Obama was “passionate” about the war in Iraq or Afghanistan? Let us think about this for a friggin’ minute: How would we feel if we inherited these quagmires? Obama wasn’t exactly secretive about the fact that he was going to work to get us out of there (mission not-so accomplished, by the way). But that’s all that Gates says, and there is no news in that. I think that Gates actually suggests that Obama was very professional altogether – even if he wasn’t pleased with those wars!

Yep. Obama sure is a loser. Not like President McCain, and President Romney, and whichever clueless right-wing candidate the GOP nominates next time.

Aww…. Poor Obama. If he wasn’t the near complete incompetent and incapable executive he actually is Gates wouldn’t be making a fortune off a book about him.

I wonder how much of Gates book brags about his time as the Deputy Director of Intelligence for the CIA, during the Iran-Contra Scandal. A little honest “tell-all” might be good for his soul. The systematic terrorizing of a country by torture, raping, mutilation and killing of non-combatants, including children and religious workers, would be hard to gloss over in a book entitled “Duty”.

Maybe warbucks was referring to the real losers Gates worked for first, “W” and Cheney?

Is this about President Obama not being far left enough?

what “this” do you mean? Please be more explicative in your interrogatives for more coherence in responses from me.

So according to Gates, Obama thought that he inherited a senseless war from Bush and he wanted nothing to do with it except to get our people out of there as quickly as possible with as little damage to the people we attacked for no reason as possible. And, he wasn’t passionate about being in that position. And, this is supposed to be a shock?
