   The sequester was Obama’s idea just as much as it was your idea to give away your wallet when a mugger says “your money or your life.” It was an extortion, with the full faith and credit of the United States of America at risk. He and the GOP both knew the sequester was a terrible idea, it was supposed to help create compromise. The GOP was, and still is, incapable of compromise. They’ve gotten $2 trillion in cuts for $600 billion in taxes. Now they say no increased revenue ever again. Sorry, that’s not what the voters said in 2012. They lost the senate, lost the presidency, and lost the popular vote in the house, though they kept power. The president’s offer of 2/3 spending cuts and 1/3 tax increases is extremely reasonable given the circumstances.

    The Blame falls squarely on Obama as he agreed to tough Budget Cuts if The House Increased taxes on The Rich. The Rich increased taxes, now Obama wants to renege on his deal to tough budget cuts. This is why The Republicans have to use sequester is because Obama lied to get Tax Increases, he had zero intention to cut spending.
