The debt ceiling is no problem. The President can always invoke the 14th amendment and declare it unconstitutional (since section 4 says “the public debt…shall not be questioned”). And if that does not work (SCOTUS) he can always have a platinum $1.000.000.000.000 coin made and deposit it at the treasury. Yes, i know how stupid that sounds, but it’s legal, and if the GOP threatens to take down the whole world economy the President has to act…
