What’s REALLY scary is the fact that what was once considered the “Radical Right Wing of The Republican Party” are now the moderates!
Ever since the TEA “Party” Loonies showed up, the G.O. P. has gone COMPLETELY whackadoodle!
And, there are some who say that the reason Romney got his butt handed to him in November was the fact that he wasn’t Right Wing enough, that he was TOO moderate!
Good God, what do they want? To drag the entire Country kicking and screaming into the 17th century??
Where only White, Straight, Married, Landowning, Rich Males over 60 can vote??

You forgot Christian, they have to be Christian, and not just any Christian but good PROTESTANT Christians!
    .
Seriously though, splitting the party may be a good idea.

Maybe not quite that rigid but you aren’t far off in your analogy. Amongst all else, a huge block of the fundamentalist Christians (and tea party people) didn’t vote for him and he obviously was lacking in support from minorities, seniors and women. Obviously the republicans have a lot of work to do to ever become relevant enough to take back the white house. The democrats went through the same process in 1988 after close to 2 decades of being out of power. They got it together and wallah, we got Bill Clinton in 1992!

Seems people aren’t ‘Taxed Enough Already’. Just wait and see how much confiscation is going to go on the next 4 years and even the coldest liberal will be begging for a TEA party representative to vote for.

Taxes haven’t been this low since I don’t know when. Obama is a Conservative to the right of Reagan.

Don’t confuse Ima with FACTS. He’s spitting out what he “learned” (I use that term loosely) from Fox News, Rush, Beck, etc. Heaven forbid that he actually think before commenting.

Like a parasite, the tea panty graffted themselves onto the republicans with the republicans welcoming them hoping that they could use the their rising popularity would get them back into office (not). Instead the parasite is killing the host.

Well, I was fearing a civil war between left and right. If there is a civil war between right and far right my opinion is that it couldn’t happen to nicer people…

What I like to see RIGHT NOW is President Obama putting his arm around someone, ANYONE, and tell the nation “I want this person to be the next President of the United States”. The Dems can not afford any infighting, any prolonged primaries or a field of 20 candidates, taking part in 27 debates. Just look at what that did to the GOP, they are all damaged goods now. The Oval Office needs to stay Democrat, so act now, Mr. Obama, please!

It’s not the taxes, and they have not been as low as the Pres-Bo claims. The real problem are the regs. Do you know how many new regs come out everyday? Obummer Care alone created 159 new bureaucracies. And there will be boards, commissions and programs, with many other new regs keeping us from out doctors.

Most of the GOP are Geriatric men who have no life outside the beltline. The Dems are full of differences, age, sex, color, abilities, and attitudes. There is the strength that will keep the Dems going while the GOP dies of old age.

^ You and Morty are overlooking the abilities of the Right Wing media to propagandize, package, and sell their conservative brand to the Rednecks. If they could sell Reagan and Bush II, they can sell anybody.

Look for them to select another smooth talking airhead, vilify the Democrat candidate, manufacture a few crises, claim Jesus as their homeboy, and take back the White House in ’16.
