…the Nazi Party did something similar to that, also.

They do seem to think it’s better to provide gas chambers for the disabled again, all around the world, rather than sign any treaty that shows America is actually willing to offer leadership, except to create MORE disabled people around the world with our “preemptive” wars.

Quite possibly the absolute LOWEST thing the G.O.P. Senators have EVER done!
Yeah, I know that all the Rightwing-nuts are gonna spout off their total nonsense about "The U.N. is gonna come in and force us all to send our kids to “Approved Schools”, or they are “Gonna take over the Military as part of the New World Order!” Is your tin-foil hat fitting all right today?
What an incredible load of crapola!
Just like the nonsense about the “Tri-Lateral Commission”, or the hogwash about “Chem trails”
Blah…Blah…Blah…

I expect Mitch McConnell will place the blame squarely on Obama, citing his ‘lack of leadership on this issue’.

@Ms. Ima
Ok ina you once again have proven your incompetency, its a “Treaty” radification not a law.
“Democrats countered the republican sovereignty argument with the fact that the treaty does not actually change any federal, state, or local laws; the guidelines are merely recommendations, thus leaving U.S. sovereignty completely intact. However, adoption of the treaty is important as it would allow the United States the ability to sit on an international board supporting the rights of U.S. citizens with disabilities outside the United States in order to protect them from discrimination.”

That’s funny, the only time I ever hear those conspiracy theories it comes from you and your buds.
Perhaps we should go to a one world government where the "leaders’ in all their compassion and wisdom decide everything for us. Tell us where to live, what to eat, what to wear, who to marry, how many children we can have. Where they can assign each of us a set amount of credit to spend and on what. Stack us up in condos or one room pods adjacent to public transportation to take us to our government assigned jobs.
But right now the UN is not the world government and the UN has no authority over the US and the US laws already meet or exceed anything in the UN proposal. Perhaps if the UN can get say the Palestinian government to adhere to all those rules or maybe China or even Syria then their “street cred” would elevate their worth on the world stage.
But I doubt they can take time off from the corruption and graft to do that.

Even the Nazi party supported their Veterans. Only those disabled out side of war got the death penalty for being weak.

The UN is the paper tiger some of the smart nuts use to frighten people into a dictatorship ship here by some of our own people.
