Obama didn’t really do it, but we’re $0.43 a gallon lower than a couple months ago, and it’s SUMMER! Now that the stock market is back over 13,000, that does have more to do with economic policies.

To bad our money has been devalued world wide because of Obama. Gas prices might be down because of him. Supply and demand, nobody can afford it so they have to lower it as to sell.
But hey the 8 is the new 5 when it comes to unemployment, the Trillion the new Billion for dept and over 3$ a gallon the new under 2$ a gallon since Obama has taken over.

Please note that the end-price is 29 cent’s higher then the starting price. And this has been going on for YEARS! Check this out:

Funny how the President was blamed for gas prices rising and when they do retreat he gets none of the credit (whether he deserves it or not), funny.

Gas prices have ALWAYS worked like this!
My father worked for Sunoco for years, and I can clearly remember him going on a trip to Philadelphia to company headquarters sometime in 1970 to meet with the people from the Wayne Pump Company, who made all of their gas pumps.
They were going to discuss designing a pump that would read over $1.00 a gallon, when the going price for gas was about $.27 – $.32 a gallon!
This was about 6 years before the so-called “Arab Oil Embargo”!
(Which was a fake, by the way!)

Our attitude on gas prices is well displayed in this cartoon.

Back when the gas prices first started rising past $1.50, a coworker started loudly complaining about it. He blamed pretty much everybody but himself. He commuted 20 miles to work each day alone in a Dodge 1-ton truck. He didn’t see how it could be in any way his fault for how much money he spent on gas.

In summer 2008, gas was over $4 a gallon. I told everyone “it’s not Bush’s fault”.
In spring 2012, gas was over $4 a gallon. I told everyone “it’s not Obama’s fault”.
Presidents are powerless in this. The supermajors are an unavowed cartel. They set the price where they want, when they want.

Supply demand. in 2008 we had this thing called the Olympics in China. China bought every last drop they could for 3 months. Prices went up. Right after the opening the price dropped and kept dropping. While Bush was President the gas stayed mostly below $2 a gallon. Obama it has stayed ABOVE 3$ a gallon!

And raising the dept ceiling caused us to loss our AAA rating for the 1st time in history? So buy saying hey we can no longer spend and borrow more we must stop the rubber stamp of just ignoring how much the top can get caused us to lose a credit rating?

Closing Keystone and being beholding to the environmental wackos had nothing to do with Obama and gas prices? Yes drilling is up on PRIVATE land that Bush W approved. Other then that Obama has blocked any and all that he could when it comes to America’s ability to produce energy.
