Cats “do their own thing” because they’re smarter and more independent than dogs. My son has two cats, one walks on a leash and is a fantastic “chic magnet” for him, the other is very independent, and gets the female CATS to come to him. Which cat is smarter?

You can’t really compare the intelligence of cats and dogs – they evolved to be smart about different things.

Follow the money. Drug companies and Insurance companies are lining up a lot of capital to protect their golden goose. The A.M.A. did not raise a finger, oops they did raise the Cheney finger after all.

but unfortunately, it’s the special interests that have the most catnip (aka campaign contributions)

BCS, campaign cash is definitely the catnip.

Actually, there is one problem with the cartoon as it is… to the best of my knowledge, cats actually have spines. Flexible, to be sure, but still spines…
