Stone Soup by Jan Eliot for March 16, 2014
Transcript:
Stone Soup by Jan Eliot Val: Smell that? Holly: It wasn't me. Val: I smell daphne and daffodils. Holly: I bet it was Alix. Alix: HEY?! Val: Smells that mean the end of winter! Alix: It wasn't ME! Val: I don't smell anything BAD. Alix: I bet it was the DOG. Biscuit: ?! Val: Breathe deep and smell SPRING! Biscuit: You're the one who gave me broccoli last night.
I think the eyes like that are supposed to indicate Val’s frustration. They were done that way on purpose.
