Transcript:
Gramma Evie: Arnold, the family wants to know if South Africa is safe... Arnold: ... Arnold: It's a beautiful country, Evie. Tell them not to worry. Gramma Evie: OK. Arnold: Between you and me, though...a little danger wouldn't keep you AWAY, would it? Gramma Evie: It might be a selling point.
I understand living life to the fullest, but I can’ get out of my mind the idea of the father who is always on a trip elsewhere and becomes a stranger to his kids. Grandkids and grandmas don’t last forever. However fun it might seem to readers, Evie is in an expensive sporatic non-committal long distance relationship. If it were Andy, Val, or Holly what would you say?
