Cheer up Alix – sure your classmates would make nice specimens to observe – the teachers sure would… surviving in their natural habitat, going about their job of stuffing knowledge into unsuspecting innocence. Oh dear – the mere thought makes me feel under the weather!

The first day of school CAN be something of a downer, especially if your summer wasn’t all that great.

I thought Holly was supposed to start High School this term? What’s Alix doing there? Or is Holly still in Grammer School? Odd.

They don’t cut real dead frogs any more. The students use computers to learn the gory stuff electronically.

The future of American business, and education, is nothing but part-timers, with NOBODY getting healthcare or retirement. If we don’t get those benefits from our jobs, where DO we get them? Business is out of control. It does not provide satisfactory options for people to live more than subsistence, hand-to-mouth lives, with no financial stability. THAT is the THIRD WORLD ECONOMY, coming soon to YOUR neighborhood.
