Gramma Evie: You're going to stay ALL ALONE in that big house while the family goes on vacation, Andy?! Gramma Evie: All those SPOOKY noises at night?! And what will you EAT, ramen?? Gramma Evie: I HATE staying alone and cooking for one! You'd be doing ME a HUGE favor if you'd stay with me while everyone's away. Andy: Um...OK. Joan: How'd she DO that?! Wally: The work of a master.
Just a quick note: as a teenager, I object to the notion that we can’t be trusted alone or that “good kids” get into trouble as soon as their parents leave because Lord knows it’s all just an act and we don’t really have a moral bone in our body. When adults perpetuate this stereotype, it only tells what kinds of kids they were. That being said, go Evie.
