Stone Soup by Jan Eliot Wally: Look! Girl Scout cookies! Joan: We don't NEED cookies. Wally: Joan!? It's not about "NEEDING" cookies! Wally: These girls and their parents stand outside for HOURS. Wally: They're learning about entrepreneurship...responsibility...loyalty! This is a tradition older than We are!! We HAVE to support them. Joan: So it's NOT about the cookies. Wally: Not at all! Joan: What's your favorite? Wally: Old-fashioned shortbread. Let's get three boxes.
Awesome. :) From my perspective, Wally is definitely right on the proverbial money there: these girls definitely are learning about entrepreneurship, responsibility and loyalty. :)
