I finally made the Pumpkin pie… delicious. Surprising for a squash.
Shared it with our neighbours from Texas. They said that it was most delicious, but it was the wrong time of year?!? Is this so? Did I make a social Faux Pas?
At any rate dear friend, Mrs. Tubbsbottl and I thank you sincerely. F.T.lll

I may have to post this again tomorrow since it’s now 11:00 PM and no one will see it. I make pumpkin bread any time of year but it is more traditional to make pumpkin desserts around thanksgiving time (October in Canada and November in the states). That’s also when restaurants serve pumpkin dishes. But pumpkin is available year round in the stores so why wait til the fall to enjoy it? Eat it anytime, it’s delicious.
