Stone Soup by Jan Eliot Alix: Aunt Joan? Can I watch TV? Joan: Your mom said no TV. Go play a game, OK? I'm really busy, so don't knock unless it's an emergency. Alix: Knock knock? Alix: There's no one to play with. Can't I watch a little TV?! Joan: This is NOT an emergency! Don't knock again. Slide Slide TIKKA TIKKA Joan: ALIX?! Gramma's just SLEEPING. ZZZ Alix: Are you sure? I think we should turn on the TV real loud and see if she wakes up.
Never liked TV, as a kid or now. I may have had the only mother that ever hollered up the stairs, ’Don’t you want to come down and watch TV?’. Nope.
