Funny thing the rest of that song says of the Donkey

“His back is brawny but his brain is weak
He’s just plain stupid with a stubborn streak ”

I’m sorry I had to do it!

Tell ya what Bob…

Let’s give Sarah Palin, exactly what she wants The media totally and completely ignores her until November. Nothing she says or does ever makes the news. No one covers her speeches, no one quotes her. Her picture never appears in any paper or on any news program. Any pic of her onstage with McCain is photoshopped so that she’s not visible. When she debates Joe Biden, she’s never asked a single question; it’s all his show.

Would you be happy then?

If they want to report on her political record or views I could care less. They didn’t do that though, they picked on her daughter which has nothing to do with anything. It’s sad that the media plays off Obama’s associations (Bill Ayers, “Frank”, and Rezko) and family members (Odinga) that are doing actual corrupt things as nothing important but a pregnant 17 year old (17 is the age of consent by the way) causes a hailstorm of media “coverage”.

If they can’t stick to the issues then they shouldn’t be reporting.

The media coverage of Sarah Palin did not begin and end with her pregnant daugther, and I think you know that Mycro…I mean Bob.

Her speech at the RNC was laced with untruths, as mayor of Wassila, she rant he town #20 mil into debt, and tried to fire the town librarian for refusing to ban books she wanted taken off the shelves.

She also ran a 527 on behalf of Ted Stevens ( Remember, YOU’RE the one who doesn’t like it when politcians associate with corrupt individuals )

She also LOVES that Federal Money…even though Alaska is awash with Oil revenues.

Is any of that fair game?

They started to bring all of that stuff only after the media saw that they were wildly unpopular for trying to run their smear job on her kid.

I’m still waiting to hear which books she wanted banned (the list they tried to release was proved false)…they don’t seem to come up with much other than “the librarian said” and now the librarian won’t talk to anyone about it so until I hear more that point will not work. Keep trying though.

Is Palin standing up for Steven’s (who hasn’t been found guilty) worse than Obama’s associations with terrorists and racists? I thought you liberals were all against “guilt by association”? I guess that’s only when it’s not your boy eh? Let Obama bring up this Stevens issue and watch how the Ayers and Rezko (etc) issues come up as well.

Let’s just forget she gave every Alaskan rebate checks from the money the state got from the government and get a little technical about life in Alaska shall we? Alaskans get money from the government because of the lower standard of living the state has than continental states and the higher prices for goods. You can have all this supposed massive amounts of oil revenue (everyone up there doesn’t work for the oil companies either) you want but it still costs A LOT to ship goods up there. Not too mention the severe cold. Alaskans have ALWAYS received money from the government so nothing is new with Palin no matter how desperately the Democrats are trying to make this issue into some kind of a problem.

That is why the media didn’t jump on this stuff right away Simon. All of it is easily refutable with basic facts and logic. Now that is all the media has on her (not for long I’m sure)hence the recent showing of McCain up in the polls over his rival.
