    I think Hitler tried that.

No. Hitler tried to do what Hamas is trying to do. Exterminate the Jews.

So you’ve decided that Israel is completely correct and Palestine has no right to complain about Jewish settlements throwing Palestinians out of their homes, and they just have to deal with blockades that crush the Palestinian economy.

You probably still believe that everything that was done to the Native Americans was justified because they were “savages”.

cus everyone knows that “native americans” were just this peaceful loving people and the mean bad white guy took advantage of them. Why The Native traded away the Empire Sate building for a few beads and and More Moral Liberal equivalent BS.
“Jewish settlements throwing Palestinians out of their homes”
Right they do not go after the bombs and weapons in the land that was won in 1967, Land that is a strategically placed in order to allow the greatest fire into Israel proper. Homes, Hospitals, school grounds, you know anywhere is fine for rocket plants, to them the best place for children to play. Better access to the child labor pool to help build those tunnels.
But to you it is just the mean Jews firing willy nilly into what ever they see fit. They have that Iron dome to protect them from the 7,000 rockets that have been fired at them. Israel has an app to warn them. Hamas only has the Israels warning, leaflets, phone calls and texts, door knocker bombs to warn them to get out. Why that is barley enough time to get the martyrs lined up.
Oh “they just have to deal with blockades that crush the Palestinian economy.”
Why they have so much money to build bombs and 100’s of tunnels for bomb making factories. Why the leaders wives live in luxury in Paris.

Opie, just because one of us may post a comment favorable to one side or the other, it does not necessarily mean that the poster is 100% on that side! Or conversely, if one posts a negative comment, he is not condemning ALL that that side has done.

As you opened “So you’ve decided that Israel…..” How do you know that? It doesn’t contribute to fair debate between opposing sides. I have defended Obama at times, but there is much that he has done with which I do not agree. I have even defended GWB ONCE, but loathe most of his & Cheney’s acts. Hurling ungrounded accusations at eachother just wastes space, and keeps the GC censors employed!

These wars will end the moment the Palestinians roll over and let Israel control them.

“Poll says 95% of Israelis don’t want a cease fire.” They barely mentioned they only polled those who favored Netanyahu and Likud.

The kid simply has it right, and that applies to BOTH sides! (But, if that happened world-wide, just think what a tragedy that would be for OUR “defense” industry!!)

NeoConman: No, these wars will end when Hamas is done away with and when the so-called Palestinians do away with the Hamas goal of the destruction of Israel. They could have done that in 1948 but as Golda Mier once pointed out: there will be a peace when the Arabs love their children more than they hate the Jews.

If Israel could be sure of a permanent cease fire I think it would gladly let Palestinians have a state without any interference or restriction. But when you are dealing with organizations whose policy calls for your elimination such surety is hard to achieve.

Prim Minister Yitzhak Rabin got close. The PLO agreed to recognize Israel and a cease fire. Israel recognized the PLO and agreed to stop taking Palestinian land. Rabin was killed by a Israeli Jew who opposed peace with the Palestinians, and the historic peace accord between the two sides unraveled.

The problem with any Palestinian/Israeli cease fire is that there are many on both sides who don’t want peace. Hamas may want to end Israel’s existence and reclaim the land that used to be theirs, but the Israeli Zionists want to take what’s left of Palestine for Israel. You just can’t negotiate or compromise with people who are convinced they’re doing their god’s work.

Obviously. Which is why Israel must continue to bomb them into dust until they start loving their children. That’s always worked in history.

When you say “the historic peace accord between the two sides unraveled” using the passive voice as though it just sort of happened. But the reason it failed is that the new leaders of Palestine loved killing Jews more than they loved peace:

It’s true, Hamas wants to obliterate Israel.

That’s why it’s only fair that Israel try to obliterate Palestine:

Jase99; also interesting that when Sharon also tried for a true peace plan, he suddenly had “a stroke”, and disappeared from the scene.

I love how you continually post this nonsense about Rabin, but neglect that Arafat was offered a 2 state solution PLUS 90% of what he wanted in 1980, but rejected it.

And TROUT, I love how Arafat “died from the flu” and not from poisoning from his own people. And that he had a billion dollars squirled away into his private bank accounts, And that his widow immediately fled to France with all the loot.
