Doc: you know full well that “rednecks” (rightwingnuts) don’t want facts, OR read history, but, ah, we can keep trying, as some may actually care, eventually.

Hey hoser go piss up a glacier already. All you seem to do with your comments is bash American conservatives. Put in a positive comment occasionally would you . Just like you we have good and bad on all sides of our politics. No one likes to listen to constant insults. You have enough brains to type and spell , please start using them in a less corrosive fashion. Most of us do know about the Geneva accords but it was Obama who spoke early and acted late, get over it!

Meanwhile you missed your own history. Get a little reading in before you make silly statements. Here’s a hint: o set a red line.

In Geneva. In 1925. Or did the Texas School Board rewrite that bit of history for you, too?

    Insulting, but normal for you.

Here’s the deal Professor. We all know the history Starting with the horror of WW1. it resulted in an agreement that chemical weapons were bad and nations should not use them on a first strike basis against other nations. Yes, there were many conventions to follow and many amendments and additions to the original treaty, all of which did not apply to those who did not sign the agreement OR to actions taken within the confines of ones own nation during a civil conflict.

NONE of this has the first thing to do with that statement issued during a press conference that asked Obama specifically what would precipitate an armed response from the US in intervention in Syria.

“A red line for us” spouts Obama, “would be if we see the use of chemical weapons…”

Not the “international community” but for “us”. I can extrapolate that in my mind to mean that he was referring to international law and the Geneva protocol on chemical weapons. BUT,

When Obama said: “IT (chemical weapons use) will change MY calculus, change MY equations” then he did indeed draw that “red line”.

But as with every other thing, he refuses to take responsibility for his words or his actions (the world set the red line BS)

Obfuscation is one of your strong suits Doc.

Your gutter “humor” is a disgrace and does no credit to your nation. In fact, most Italians I know would be ashamed to be so crass.

There was no requirement to bomb Syria. And even though Kurds were being gassed and genocide was being used on Marsh Arabs, Obama was against any action (hypocrisy). Bush had more allies, and more authorization. Obama can’t get any of his allies on board because he is considered a joke in the international community. No surprise there., Canuck and the others of his ilk still don’t get the joke. Obama’s diplomacy is a failure, his words are empty and he doesn’t know what he is doing. The Middle East is a wreck because of his policies. And of course he wants to blame it on the world.

How are you faring without your star iconic figure of Italian politics, that great modern Italian hero, Berlusconi. He clearly had your support, lui è un pagliaccio.
