what silly question! should one avoid modern invention based on one’s elderliness? or is that someone so old must have no interest in expanding one’s horizons, reaching out to the world generally?

I’m betting she started in her late 90’s. So by 105 she is an old hand at the media.

My mom is 100, a staunch Republican, and hasn’t kept up with any events in the real world since Roosevelt was elected (she had tons of clippings about how bad FDR and his spouse were, they read just like the critics of Obamas today!!!) and hasn’t had an original thought since. What’s funny is her clippings about Ike, that prove the current Republicans would impeach HIM, or hire a gun!

While “social media” have gone nuts, when it comes to ignorance, or outright stupidity, they demonstrate how the “conservative” base is sustained.
