my eyes! my eyes!!! they burn!!!!
A liberal artist could have done this same cartoon using R’s lying on the tables and a Fox journalist rubbing them down. Our media rarely holds legislators to any kind of standard of truth or factual foundation. I have noticed more D’s appear on Fox than R’s appear on MSNBC. Both networks spend more time interviewing their own staff than people who actually are in a position to give pertinent information.
A few years ago, Representatives were told NOT to do interviews with Stephen Colbert as it would not benefit the party. For this same reason, MSNBC finds it hard to get R’s to appear on their programs. It is cowardice, plain and simple.
    Respectfully,
    C.

I can’t really blame politicians for not wanting to appear on some programs. The hosts too often lead a loaded question with a prejudicial introduction to that question and then don’t allow the interviewee to fully answer the question. Of course, the host sometimes has trouble getting the politician to answer the question that was asked and not going off on some unrelated tangent. A different problem.

The mainstream media doesn’t do its job the way it is. If it wasn’t for FOX, there would be no network to confront them on their all obama adoration and to call important issues to our attention that the msm ignores.
    .
People here actually believe that if the msm doesn’t cover a story, it means that it isn’t important.

    Hello Ansonia,
In other posts I’ve mentioned people I love who believe, as you apparently do, that Fox is the only news source that speaks to their concerns. However, I have read a great deal about Mr. Murdoch and the impact his news organization has had in Australia, the UK, and I see it here. I have seen R legislators accused of wrongdoing identified on camera, tho not by voice, with a D behind their name. I have seen a level of hypocrisy and fear mongering that makes liberal outlets, with their own hypocrisy and use of fear tactics, look sane and reasonable.
I know you will not agree with me, however, I would love to sit down with you in a wifi coffee house or tavern and play dueling laptops with you. When you are not angry, you are a good commentator, and you might be disappointed to find Fox is not as fair or as balanced as you think. Or, like my relatives, you may feel that Fox’s ‘support’ of Christian values, and social issues makes them the only source of news to which you can turn even if they do sometimes “make mistakes” without later reporting the corrections.
I would encourage you to do some reading about Mr. Murdoch. Don’t use wiki. He is using the Repubs to pursue his own agenda, and I do not believe it is a Constitutionally approved agenda at its core.
    Respectfully,
    C.
