For more than two decades, political cartoonist Steve Kelley has devoted his attention to public officials the way the radiator grille of a tractor-trailer might devote its attention to June bugs. He has delighted readers by consistently consigning office-holders to the one fate they fear most: that of not being taken seriously.

A “rageaholic”, or “anger addict”, is a person who gets excited by expressing rage , or a person prone to extreme anger with little or no provocation.

Repressed anger is worse, no anger is better.

Channeled anger is resolve and effort.
Get angry.
Resolve to talk to legislators more.
Make the effort to keep an open mind.
Respectfully,
C.

Although I disagree strongly with the statement I have to say that this was very, very funny! Thank you, Mr. Kelley.

So grab a gun and take your frustrations out on a school?
.
I like the joke in this comic, but the “Expressing anger makes you live longer” is BS. C. Downs has it right, if you channel anger into positive works, great. If you just get angry because you’re too immature to be able to handle your emotions, not so great.
.
Somehow our culture has equated immaturity with youthfulness.

@HOWGOZIT
Howie, I need my wallet replenished because of the current system. Averaging $24,000/yr from my pocket to the system over the last four years. I’ve been an advocate of universal healthcare for years recently I had my eyes opened further due to unavoidable extreme participation in the way we deliver healthcare in this country.
I’ve said before that those who have not closely participated in the craziness of our system are fortunate, and mostly clueless.

Let’s see. The son of the President of the NRA got enraged and shot at another motorist in traffic. Think he’ll live longer due to his time in prison?

You’ve proven my point about the mostly clueless.

Obamacare is going to cost us over $1,000.00 more next year due to increased cost for our Medicare supplement plan and increased medication cost. My brother-in-law was told by his doctor that if he wants his bad knee replaced, he needs to do before he becomes 70, because Medicare will not pay for it afterward. Really helps us older folks, doesn’t it? Obama sucks!

Get angry, live long enough to see your own death panel.
