Jeff, it’s interesting if you look into how many of those jobs in Texas are paid for with federal taxpayers’ money. Defense and other government employment and contracting is a HUGE part of the non-oil economy in Texas.

“Hmm, Bush was academically brighter than Gore”

And you’re going to post their academic records to back up your statement.

    And without the ethics.
Just what we need, another slow Texas governor as president.
More war, mandatory death sentences, forced pregnancies…a republican wet dream.

The charges were made by a group funded by George Soros to take out the candidate. The decision who will win has already been made. Voter fraud doesn’t matter when the elections are as crooked as they have been in this country, Comrades.

“Sometimes it seems like there isn’t a single political issue that a Soros-funded group isn’t involved in. Texans for Public Justice, one of the groups behind Rick Perry’s indictment charges, is part of a “progressive” coalition that has received $500,000 from liberal billionaire George Soros.

Rick Perry was indicted by a Texas grand jury for vetoing funding for the state’s public integrity unit, unless the lead prosecutor resigned following her drunk driving arrest. Since the news of Perry’s indictment charge broke on Aug. 15, none of the network morning or evening news broadcasts have mentioned the Soros connection, or mentioned Texans for Public Justice at all.

According to KXAN, a local NBC affiliate in Austin, Texans for Public Justice filed a complaint against Perry in court last June.

According to an Open Society Institute press release, OSI has given $500,000 to help form a coalition that “could change the way the progressive community engages public policy in Texas.” Besides Texans for Public Justice, this coalition includes Texans Together, the Sierra Club, Texas Legal Services, La Fe Policy Research and Education Center, Public Citizen, and the Center for Public Policy.“

‘NewsBusters is a wingnut media watch website that styles itself as “Exposing and Combating Liberal Media Bias.” The site is an extension of Brent Bozell’s Media Research Center.
While an ostensibly admirable goal to keep check on the media, it does not so much expose “liberal bias” as try to ram a Republican bias in all over the place. The site also has a blatant anti-science agenda, often criticizing stories on evolution and global warming that don’t give time to creationist or denialist perspectives for having “liberal bias.”’ – Courtesy of RationalWiki
“George Soros, he everywhere” is not a comment on Benson’s Cartoon. It is an attempt to change the subject, derail the conversation. If Perry’s innocent, the courts will sort it out before the nominating conventions get under way TWO YEARS FROM NOW.
PS – Perry did not CREATE jobs in Texas; he LURED jobs into Texas that were CREATED elsewhere. How? With promises of no taxes and dirt cheap labor of course.
Anybody think no taxes and dirt cheap labor sounds like a winning NATIONAL Strategy for the US of A?
    It ain’t winning in China.

And besides that… WHY would George Soros ( or anybody else ) want to waste money on ‘taking out’ a candidate who imploded on his own in the last presidential campaign?
Oh, and Churchill-Was-Right’s article should be properly titled, ‘Brent Bozell SAYS the Media censored George Soros connection to Perry Indictment.’

Church might be tag-teaming Harley. After all, blogs and opinions are just as good as facts to divert attention away from the issues, right?

Ted Cruz? How are the Republicans going to sell a man who was born in a foreign country when they have spent the last 10 years saying that Obama can’t be president because he was born in Hawaii, after it became a state?
