Steve is becoming more like Lisa (same last name)

Come on Clark, give him a break. He could be saying that the President is trying to warn of an impending disaster – that he agrees with – and yet the public (all us ignorant peons) are not paying attention. Well that COULD be it.

Hype and Blame will be Obama’s legacy.

So you admit the President is helpless to actually lead? The tea party is more powerful than he? lol.
But it is true, the President is always seen as campaigning against things so he won’t have to get close to ownership of his failed polices. Look how successful he is – even you believe that he doesn’t own this economy – “he didn’t build this!”

The failed policies are not Obama’s policies. The GOP owns the lack of a jobs bill, the lack of stimulus spending, and this economically idiotic austerity plan in the middle of a weak recovery. They’re just hoping that the blame for their sabotage of a great nation gets blamed on the one who’s been trying to do the right thing all along.

The sequester needs to stay in place. Neither party has the will power to cut ANY spending. We are now borrowing or printing 47 cents of every dollar we spend. It has to stop.

So quit hyping the blame you lay upon him. It’s not HIS fault that they guys you elected to Congress won’t bother to pass a budget.

The Obama administration had hoped that sequestration would cause the public to rise up and storm the Bastille with flaming stakes upon which to place heads. Looks like they miscalculated.

@Gore Bane
So may I assume you are now very happy with Obama as he has drastically cut government spending as a result of HIS idea of sequestration?
Or has your hatred for Obama caused you to switch sides and you’re now calling for MORE government spending?

The public won’t care about the sequester until it actually hurts them which might be sometime down the road.

Fact check, The R in the house HAS passed budget after budget. It is the D in Congress under the threat of Obama that has failed time and time again. Then Obama gets out and Hypes the blame on the R.

Sequester was the idea of two Obama Staffers. Obama took ownership of the sequester, he insisted sequester be part of the tax increase bill. He was betting the Republicans would not agree to the sequester as it would make deep cuts to the Republican sacred cow, defense spending.
The Republicans surprised Obama and voted for his plan of sequester, Obama singed the tax increase bill with the sequester he wanted. Now Obama and liberals are blaming the Republicans for Obama’s Idea,and it was Obama who went ahead and implemented the sequester hours before the deadline.
This was reported on NBC News

The sequester was the idea of two of his staffers, and he took the idea as his own. He demanded sequester be part of the tax increase bill. He got what he wanted, signed the bill, and he implemented the sequester, and now he blames the Republicans for his idea and his actions.

@ARodney
The Republicans have passed Jobs Bills, however, Democrat Harry Reid refuses to allow the Senate to read the Jobs Bills the House Passed.
Harry Reid, a Democrat is the saboteur, not the Republicans. It is long past time for Obama to demand Harry Reid allow the Senate to read all of the Jobs Bills the House has passed, but Obama will never do this as he refuses to take ownership for his failures.
