   By the way…since Mitch McConnell FAILED in his PERSONALLY STATED most important task, that of “Making sure Obama is a one-term president”, don’t you think it’s time he needs to be tossed out when up for re-election?

   Wasn’t it Obama who said to the Republicans after his victory in 2008 (when they were trying to compromise) : “Elections mean something. We won.”

    We must reform our tax laws which takes the cooperation of Congress. In spite of lack of cooperation, there is a movement back to US locations due to poor workmanship and lack of resposibility from the foreign manufacturers. I liked the warranty on a faucet I was ionstalling. “Free replacement” if returned to the manufacturer in Shiangtu, China. A call to the 800 number listed to ask for a replacement spray nozzle said they would immediately ship a new one from their factory. 5 years and still waiting! I was able to repair the original. A tire “manufacturer” in New Jersey" had to go out of business when the tires began coming apart. The Chinese manufacturer would not stand behind them.

    Assnonia – do you forget the reDUMBlican comment that their number one mission was to ensure Obama was a one-term president? Does that not demonstrate intention to obstruct and attempt to thwart? If I were to tell you that I was going to fight every effort you make, would you want to try and work with me? And President Obama did make great strides towards trying to include the reDUMBlicans. He put forth his agenda, as any good president should. Then he asked for reTHUGlican input but they refused. During the deficit debate he moved closer, then closer then gave in completely and stood on their initial starting line, but the reDUMBlicans had moved even farther away with absolutely no intention of returning to their initial starting point. Like President Obama said, the reDUMBlicans refused to take “Yes” for an answer.
